Robbie Williams Says He Has Gone Vegan

The singer says he adopted a mostly plant-based diet to cure a mystery illness that forced him to cancel his summer tour.

Famed singer Robbie Williams took to YouTube recently to explain to his fans why he was forced to cancel the rest of his Heavy Entertainment Show tour. Williams said that he was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit after falling ill of an unidentified illness ahead of the three remaining shows of his tour scheduled in Russia in September. The singer has not cancelled a tour due to health reasons since 1998 and decided to make dramatic lifestyle changes to ensure he will be able to perform for upcoming tours in Australia and New Zealand in February. “Now I am vegan,” Williams said. “I do pilates every day. I do yoga every day and have a really big burger on a Sunday.” The singer said he is not “fully that guy” and has a “cheat” meal. Williams hopes that his lifestyle change allows him to return to Russia at some point and reschedule the cancelled shows.
