Bachelorette Winner Shawn Booth Goes Vegan

The hunky bachelor adopted a plant-based diet after winning the heart of Kaitlyn Bristowe on season 11 of the popular reality show.

Shawn Booth, winner of season 11 of dating reality show The Bachelorette, recently announced that he has eschewed animal products from his diet. “I’ve been vegan for about a month and a half now,” Booth told media outlet People, "and it’s actually kind of fun and exciting to me because it’s opened my eyes to a lot of different foods out there that I never tried before." Booth said he struggled at first with giving up meat, but after attempting to follow a plant-based diet for one year has finally settled on what feels right for his body. Booth and Bristowe have been engaged since the show aired in 2015 and live in New York City.
