Portland Vegans for Haiti

As organizations around the world unite to raise money for the victims of Haiti, vegans across the country prove that selling delicious vegan baked goods is one surefire way to get the job done. Today marks the Portland Bake Sale For Haiti, held at People’s Cooperative. All proceeds benefit Mercy Corps for its current relief efforts in Haiti. This is the latest in a slew of recent, impromptu vegan bake sale benefits that have been happening across the country. Last week, a group of vegans in New York City held a bake sale benefit at vegan-shoe boutique Moo Shoes. Post Punk Kitchen is encouraging all vegans to plan bake sale fundraisers in their hometowns.
