Sea Shepherd In NYC

From April 23 to May 5 the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society’s flagship vessel, the Steve Irwin, will be docked in New York City for fans to tour and help maintain. The crew, who just returned from their latest whale-defense campaign in the Antarctic, will be leading tours of the ship, as well as recruiting new volunteers and society members. On Friday, April 30, Captain Paul Watson and his crew will be hosting A NYC Evening For the Oceans, a benefit in Manhattan to raise money for the society. The cocktail party fundraiser will run from 7:30pm to 11:30pm at Collective Hardware, between Broome and Kenmare.
