Vegan Silverstone Pregnant

Alicia Silverstone, actress and vegan celebrity author of The Kind Diet, is pregnant.

Alicia Silverstone—actress, author, animal-rights activist and VN contributor—announced late last week that she and her husband Christopher are expecting a child later this year. Silverstone posted the news on her blog, The Kind Life, along with the announcement that she will be sharing her experiences and other information about vegan pregnancy on the site. “I’m excited about documenting this time in my life, and sharing all of my experiences with you,” she writes on her blog. "I will definitely be posting tons more blogs about pregnancy, and can’t wait to hear your feedback." This will prove a very busy year for the actress, who also has three films—Vamps, Butter, and Homework—premiering in 2011.
