YouTube Star Lohanthony Shares His Top Vegan Finds

The mega-popular teen, who has amassed more than 86 million video views, shares his love for all-things Daiya in his first vegan video.

Popular YouTube personality and new vegan Lohanthony recently posted a video detailing his grocery haul from Whole Foods Market in one of his first vegan videos since going plant-based in late 2015. The sixteen-year-old YouTuber, who boasts 1.5 million subscribers and more than 86 million views, shared some of his favorite products, including Follow Your Heart’s Vegenaise, Organic Girl super greens pack, and Daiya yogurts. “When I went to Whole Foods today, they didn’t have my Daiya blueberry [yogurt] or my Daiya cherry,” he said. “So after I was struck with this first-world struggle, I had to choose this Silk dairy-free blueberry yogurt, which I’m excited to try.” He also went on to gush about various eggless breakfast foods, dairy-free pizzas, and macaroni and cheese. “I’m not crazy or anything, I just bought three different types of macaroni and cheese … because I need a solid brand of mac and cheese that I can rely on to be there for me whenever I need it.” The enthusiastic newbie vegan had some trouble pronouncing some notoriously tricky vegan names (Daiya, Vegenaise, and even “tofuturkey”), but is shaping up to be a very popwerful plant-based advocate. Go Lohanthony!
