Vegan Author Hosts Compassion Immersion Retreat

Renowned vegan author and speaker Colleen Patrick-Goudreau is hosting a Compassion Immersion Retreat in Oakland, CA May 28 and 29 in celebration of the 10th anniversary of her Food for Thought podcast. The weekend-long event will be held at Oakland’s Waterfront Hotel and will feature lectures and workshops “to explore, celebrate, and manifest what it means to live fiercely compassionately.” Sessions include “Understanding the Principles of Compassion”, “Finding Compassion for Everyone (Even for Those Who Harm Animals)”, and “Choosing the Most Effective Type of Advocacy”, while a special “Intimate Immersion Experience” package allows attendees to enjoy a special gift package and a private gathering at Patrick-Goudreau’s home. Patrick-Goudreau has authored seven vegan books, hosts the YouTube video series Vegan Point of View, and is a contributor to National Public Radio (NPR).
