A new non-dairy coffee creamer product called Coconut Cloud is now available for purchase via Amazon. The dried coconut-milk product is positioned as an on-the-go alternative to instant coffee creamer products—many non-dairy varieties still contain sodium caseinate, a non-vegan ingredient sourced from dairy. “Whether you want a latte or a flat white, Coconut Cloud will give you a bonafide, tastebud-tantalizing, plant-based pick-me-up in a coffee cup,” the Colorado-based company said. The product’s four ingredients include raw coconut cream, tapioca syrup (for sweetness), rice starch (which acts a whitener and provides creaminess), and an anti-clumping agent. Coconut Cloud can also be used in recipes such as Thai green curries and chocolate puddings in place of canned coconut milk.
