Sean O’Callaghan, the blogger behind Fat Gay Vegan, is readying to resurrect Queer Vegan Disco (QVD), one of the most beloved events in London’s vegan scene. The one-night-only party, referred to by O’Callaghan as the “brightest and best celebration of the LGBT community, our friends, fabulous music, and compassion,” will take place July 23 at Kabaret at Karmel nightclub in North London’s Wood Green neighborhood. Originally, QVD was held weekly throughout 2015 before ending in early 2016, but will be back to entertain club goers with a mix of indie, pop, alternative, rock, dance, ‘80s, ‘90s, and favorites from the late animal advocate Prince. The all-vegan venue specializes in globally inspired cuisine, vegan desserts, cocktails, craft beers, wine, and coffee.
