Organizers are readying for the launches of the seventh annual Vegan Beer & Food Festival in Los Angeles, and the second incarnation in Portland, OR, both held this June. Admission includes a three-ounce tasting glass for patrons to enjoy pours of each region’s best craft beer, ciders, kombucha, cold brew coffee, and craft sodas on draft. The events will also enlist dozens of food carts, trucks, vendors, and restaurants (Portland will host 35, Los Angeles, 75) and a vegan pop-up marketplace selling a number of vegan goods. The main Los Angeles attractions include Cascade, Stone Brewing, and Lost Abbey breweries, as well as Plant Food for People, Burgerlords, and Donut Friend. Portland’s event will also feature local favorite Cascade, as well as The Commons and Breakside, while popular eateries Blossoming Lotus, Doomie’s, and Sizzle Pie will be on hand providing plant-based fare. VIP tickets that allow entry two hours early, an exclusive beer tasting, and VIP area access are still available, as are “No Beer, All Cheer VIP” tickets, which allow the same VIP privileges at a discounted price for those enjoying non-alcoholic beverages.
