Few things signal the festiveness of autumn and the holiday season like baked goods. And whether they’re berry-based, creamy, or filled with custard, there’s a plant-based dessert for everyone. With this in mind, it’s time to bust out your grocery lists because you’re in for some serious Instagram insPIEration.

 

1. The only way you could improve @studiocapsula_photography’s deep-dish vegan apple is with a big scoop of vanilla coconut milk ice cream and a drizzle of vegan caramel sauce. Excuse us while we wipe our chins.

 

2. Our prayers have been answered with @magpiessoftserve’s indulgent fried pie—complete with corn-almond soft serve, chocolaty vegan fudge, crumbly graham crust, fried candied corn flakes, and sweet (honey-free) honeycomb. To top it all off, we’re asking for extra non-dairy whipped cream.

 

3. Seriously, Chicago-based baker @piepiemydarling is taunting us with this Cookie Monster pie—with its rich chocolate cream topped with ganache, vegan whipped cream, miniature chips, and crushed Oreo cookies in a chocolate chip cookie crust. Windy City, here we come!

 

4. We don’t know how @slaveyaterzieva managed to make such a perfectly golden brown, cross-hatched sour cherry pie, but we do know it’d be oh-so-sweet to sneak a slice—just a little one!

 

5. See, when we try to combine zucchini, sweet potato, spinach, vegan chicken, tomatoes, cheese, and cashew pesto, it almost never comes out looking as pretty as @theveganbeachlife’s puff-pastry pie. Can someone please send one or two of these (a week) to our VegNews headquarters? Please and thank you.

 

6. @happy.yumyum puts a spin on ordinary pumpkin pie by using Japanese pumpkin (otherwise known as “kabocha squash”), coconut syrup, perilla seeds, rolled oats, coconut oil, and roasted cashews as the topping. Forget tradition—this unique pie has our name written all over it!

7. Famed New York City macaron maker/everything-baker @sweetmaresas’ personal pear pecan frangipane tarts are filled with sweet, almond-based custard-like filling, then topped with sliced glazed pears for an elegant, beautiful pastry you’d expect to find at a French patisserie.

 

8. @soyvegana_jenny’s marvelous vegan pie is made with almond custard cream, delicate pastry crust, and more than 70 fig slices. Go figure!

 

GOUDEN GALETTE! πŸ’› Prinsjesdag, terwijl Lex en Max πŸ‘‘ vandaag de Gouden koets verruilen voor een glazen variant, kwam er bij mij toch echt een Gouden Rolls Roys πŸš• uit de oven paraderen over een rode loper. Met twee twinkelende ogen geniet ik van dit kleurrijke tafereel 🎨 waar menig koning of koningin toch wel jaloers op zou zijn! πŸ˜‰ Deze Gouden Galette spant toch wel de kroon! Wat is deze verwennerij ontzettend lekker! Met enkele voedzame ingrediënten maakte ik deze Kanjer, waar je iedereen mee kan verrassen! Het geheime ingrediënt? De perfecte melen combinatie, aromatische specerijen en de Medjoul dadels zorgen vooreen gebalanceerd geheel. De vulling van frisse mango, bramen en gebroken amandelen maken de Galette helemaal af! πŸ˜ŠπŸ™ŒπŸΌ Serieus, ik denk toch wel dat mening Hollands en Argentijns hart hier sneller van gaat kloppen!
