Obama Talks Factory Farming

Obama discusses dangers of factory farming.
President-elect Barack Obama bared his veg-friendly streak recently when addressing the link between global warming and modern-day factory farming. Talking with New York Times contributor, Joe Klein, Obama noted the connection. "I was just reading an article in The New York Times by Michael Pollan about food and the fact that our entire agricultural system is built on cheap oil," he said. "As a consequence, our agriculture sector actually is contributing more greenhouse gases than our transportation sector." Unlike Al Gore, Obama tells the whole truth—not part of it.

Somebody get this man some more information! I'd love to see what he could do if he really knew all the facts! Can anyone set up a conference call from John Robbins, you think?

But come on...let's not praise the man for his words unless he actually practices what he preaches. The day Obama goes vegan is the day I will give him credit for recognizing the link between what we consume and the impact on the environment.
