This Week's Must-Have

Gardein Crispy Tenders

Dipped in Dijon or savored solo, this classic finger food packs equal parts flavor and nutrition.

Fresh off the launch of its new frozen line, Garden Protein International presents its hysteria-worthy Gardein in an entire range of meatless treats. For our current favorite, look no further than the perfectly seasoned and breaded Seven Grain Crispy Tenders. Made with a unique multi-grain blend, including quinoa, amaranth, and kamut, each protein-packed portion contains less than two grams of fat and only 90 calories. This finger-food fare is perfect for dipping in your favorite condiment, from jazzed-up ketchup to zesty garlic aioli, provided you can hold off on chomping the tenders long enough to sauce them up. Trust us, this is harder than it sounds.

I'm curious about the Gardein line- it's been in Canada for a while now- but I don't remember any of the soy being organic- and since it's a highly GMO'd crop, I'm reticent to go near it. Thoughts?

Stephanie, check out the "where do the ingredients come from that are used in gardein??" question on their FAQ: http://www.gardein.com/faqs.php

We use non-GMO soy and organic where possible. Thanks for your interest! Jeff from gardein jeff@gardenprotein.com

Wish I could find something like this that was also gluten-free. I miss things like tenders.

Just tried the wings and tenders, they are delicious!!! I hope this company comes out with more options in the future! I'm looking for new options, Morningstar Farms keeps discontinuing every product that I loved!

I am eating these for dinner tonight. I would say they are the best vegan crispy tenders I've tried from the grocery store.

WOW! That is all I can say. I originally purchased these for my daughter as another option from the Morningstar Farms nuggets we usually eat. These were great. I even cut one up and gave it to my one year old and he loved them, too.
