We expect hard work, enthusiasm, great ideas, and an interest in promoting vegetarianism from our interns. Although internships are unpaid, we offer a host of benefits to ensure a fulfilling experience. This includes a free apartment, daily vegetarian lunch, product sampling, complimentary event tickets, all-you-can eat vegan cookies, a wonderful work environment (one block from the ocean in one of the most veg-friendly cities in America), advancement opportunities, course credit, and more. Most importantly, however, is the experience gained from working with a professional team to produce content for an award-winning magazine, website, e-newsletters, and blogs.

VegNews is currently accepting applications for the following internship position:

Editorial Assistant (full-time)
Interested in becoming a writer or editor? This is the place to gain invaluable experience. Interns will read and pitch stories, field inquiries, participate in editorial meetings, research story ideas, copy edit, fact check, and have an opportunity to write for the magazine and website. Interns will also participate in general publishing duties.
