Vegan musician William James Adams (known professionally as “will.i.am”) teased plans to release a vegan cookbook during a recent interview with The Sun. The Black Eyed Peas member and host of reality show The Voice hopes the cookbook will appeal to a wide audience. “A book is nice,” Adams said. “A book is effortless but the results help more people.” Fellow The Voice judge Olly Murs suggested a clever title for Adams’ vegan cookbook. “It could be called Black Eyed Peas,” Murs said. “You’ve already got the vegetables in the title.” Adams adopted a vegan lifestyle in January 2018 and has credited his plant-based diet for lowering his high blood pressure and cholesterol and helping him to lose unwanted weight. The musician also uses his platform to urge fans to go vegan by joining the “V.Gang”—a term he coined that describes, “a group of people taking a hardcore gangster approach to wellness and [conscious] living.”
